A lover of art and music, this California native began his college education studying architecture, design and 3D modeling. The design classes emphasized color theory, lighting and three-dimensional design. Roger graduated from Westwood College with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture.

After graduating from design school, he has a versatile background that includes working for both Architectural and Design Firms, and is experienced in architectural drafting-AutoCAD, rendering, design boards, and making 3D models.

His work experience enables him to be equally comfortable with Home and Business owners, and builders who may require someone with his more extensive technical background.

Roger is a brilliant addition to the team at SalonEquipment.com, exuding creativity and a contagious passion for design. Roger uses visual expression and creativity to perfect the design. He is brimming with ideas in which to capture the experience of the interior space.

John Pohlen
Built his business on years of experience in the beauty industry. After graduating from Beauty College in 1977, he attained his instructor's license and teaching credential in 1983, as well as credential in business. For over 30 years, he has helped clients fulfill their dreams of owning their own salons, from small beauty parlors to the most luxurious spas. His experience in the beauty business allows him to understand what you, the customer, want and need.
